The event is managed by the Osaka Food Business Internationalization Council, an alliance of food manufacturers and other organizations. The council holds regular study sessions and exchanges information on export and inbound business, with the goal of "creating food from Japan that can be accepted around the world.
Participating companies also bring each other's knowledge and ideas for new products, and take on the daily challenge of achieving goals that would be difficult for a single company to achieve on its own. Product development, research, and marketing activities would be completed by a single company if it were a large manufacturer, but we are working as a team to create new products with wisdom and passion while utilizing each other's characteristics. 　In this context, in the commercial business for export, the products of major companies inevitably stand out, and small and medium-sized companies are unable to convey their specialties to overseas buyers. We launched this site in order to appeal to buyers in a way that no single company can do by selling their products together.
　The purpose of this site is not to actually buy and sell products, but to increase opportunities for business talks that lead to exports as much as possible, so actual quotations, sample shipments, and orders are done individually within each company, with no intermediate margins.
　We also hold joint business meetings and exhibit together at overseas and domestic exhibitions.
